date night with colton

Colton picked me up tonight and we were out! Ready for a date of Christmas lights at Temple Square, hot chocolate, and a movie!

As we drove down the busy streets of the freeway, Colton sang sweet songs to me. Actually, they weren't really sweet, but got to love a boy who can sing, right?

Temple Square really is the place for a night out! We walked around and looked at the mangers, and we looked at all the paper sacks lined up, which was probably my favorite. Colton read every single one to me because I was having a difficult time reading. (i thought turkish, was tongan... i was quiet after that) We went and watched the show of the Christmas story. Colton tried to make me believe the statues were real. I knew they weren't but he thought he could trick me.

We headed back to the car and in no time at all, arrived back at my house. Colton and I drank large cups (more like bowls) of hot chocolate. Then, moved on our way downstairs to watch my favorite Christmas movie, A Muppet's Christmas Carol. (if you have not seen this movie, it's a must this year) He probably got sick of me trying to sing along, but I couldn't help it!

I had a blast with Colton and hope we continue to go on lots more dates! He is a hoot! Thanks Boy!
