once upon a time, there was a boy and a girl. they
were wee little, about the age of 4. one time, they were in church,
primary to be exact. they were practicing songs to sing for fathers day.
there was one particular song that sparked the boys interest. it's
called "daddy's homecoming."
“Daddy’s Homecoming,”
Children’s Songbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 210
Sing Brightly
I’m so glad when daddy comes home,
Glad as I can be;
Clap my hands and shout for joy,
Then climb upon his knee,
Put my arms around his neck,
Hug him tight like this,
Pat his cheeks, then give him what?
A great big kiss.
Glad as I can be;
Clap my hands and shout for joy,
Then climb upon his knee,
Put my arms around his neck,
Hug him tight like this,
Pat his cheeks, then give him what?
A great big kiss.
Improvise actions as suggested by the words. (the little boy took this part way too seriously.)
Words: Anon.

at the underlined spot, this little boy leaned over and kissed the little girl. the little girl froze and was in complete shock that the little boy had kissed her. she was frightened that she might get in trouble or sick for she knew all boys had cooties.
they were friends. even after the kissing session.
they would eat cheeseless cheeseburgers together, play tag at recess, play with his pet chickens, ride bikes together, and get babysat together.
the two of them grew up as best friends, actually, more like brother and sister. they never kissed again and both knew that they only stood as friends.
one day i came home from a football game to this...
get it? "kissed"
and of course i said yes!
i couldn't let my brother down.
so for the day activity we did this...
and then we went to dinner and danced!
that's all folks!
