Well friends, as of August 20, I became a full time student at Snow College. I can now mark that off my "BigDreams" check list.
I want to thank Amanda for being such an example to me and going to Snow to give me this BigDream. Ever since I visited once, I have always wanted to come back!
I had a difficult time deciding whether to come to Snow or to go to SLCC and I wrote Riley and asked him which I should do. He told me to go to Snow and without a doubt in my mind, I knew it was the right one for me.
Now, it's a lot more different than I remember. It's like high school all over again. Learning where your classes are and having to stand up and introduce yourself and say one unique thing about you plus a little about you, like where you're from and which year you are.
My roommates are awesome so far and I have not a single thing to complain about.
I enjoy the walk to and from the college.
Being on my own is weird and I have learned how to measure food out for the time being.
I will definitely buy a gallon of milk next time and maybe some fruit snacks.
The fact that I don't have WiFi for my ipod drives me nuts, but I will survive.
There are lots of cowboys/girls and I love watching the people.
I may be a little shy and quiet now, but soon, I will pop out of my shell and be the girl I was meant to be.
Wish me luck friends, but know that so far, college is good.
