rest in peace: a tribute that won't give enough credit.

I got Allie when I was just four years old. Since then, she has been my little pal. She was such a trooper; sitting in my stroller while I drove her around the hardwood floors of my old home, sitting in play church and being my kid, the many times I played dentist and she was my patient, the many walks I dragged her on, the many times I would scream "ALLIE! WHAT DID YOU DO!?!?" to annoy her, the many times I yelled "GOOD GIRL!" to make her think she was in trouble but in fact, she wasn't. The times I would shut the screen door after her going out to go potty and waiting for her to come running full speed right into the 'invisible' door, the times I was little and didn't get it, but I would put her tiny face into my huge mouth (i think i was more of a boy sometimes...) But then we have the good times; our reunites after searching for her, the time we went on walks and she was a good dog, celebrating because she finally got the hang of a new trick, sliding her all around the hardwood floors while she held onto her little brown bear that I had a hold of on the other side, feeding her mom's food under the kitchen table, giving her baths, playing with her outside, nursing her hip back to health after it popped out and so much more. Losing Allie is like losing my best friend or worse, my little sister. She was such a good dog despite her barking and occasional laziness. I love her so much! Allie girls, I will miss you so much. Going home just won't be the same.

rest in peace.

This made me cry too when I read it. Its hard to loose a pet when she is part of your family! What a sweet little girl!

Oh I am crying too! Thinking of you all! I was wondering though, wasn't she born in 98 though? I think she was because that was the year Grandma passed away.

Oh I am so sorry for your loss. Allie was a sweetheart. I remember when we babysat her years ago. We took her for a walk but she just wanted to be held the whole time.

So sorrryy for your loss :( She was such a cute dog. I'll never forget always yelling Allie at the top of my lungs just to get her attention.
