Oh yes, in July.
Well, believe it or not, a lot has stayed the same. I enjoy my job so much! The people I work with are so sweet and generous that I appreciate them all. Minus the dress code [a hideous blue vest] my job is awesome! The other day a guy came in, I don't even know his name [if i did, i wouldn't tell you because that is against hippa, but i wish i did so i could thank him] and i adjusted his glasses for him. He got up and as he was leaving he told me he would be back with my tip. Now, I work at an eyeglass place, a doctors office and that is not okay to do, accept a tip that is, but this man insisted. Bless that man, because now I have some super cute boots! Yes, the tip was that big. But not only do I have cute boots, I have hope for the world that there is still good. My co-workers are fantastic! I really can say that I like each one because they all have so much personality! We spend the days laughing, talking, and making frequent runs to the sev for water. I couldn't be happier where I am at now.
I am so grateful I decided to stay home and not go back to Snow.... or just any college for that matter, because I would be missing out on so much more than I could imagine. I've really gained a closer bond with each of my sisters in the past few weeks and I am so blessed to have these women in my life to look up to. Their kids bring me such happiness with their giggles and never ending energy. I cannot get enough of them and have such a ball whenever we are together.
Landon, yes of course I am going to mention him! We have been dating for a while now and I have loved every minute. He has been here for me through the absolute worst times and the best times. With moving out, the new job, family stress, working two jobs, then quitting one, moving again and everything else in between, he has been there to get me through the day and how grateful I am for him. Landon makes up so many surprises and dates too, we are always doing something fun and it's never a dull moment. We have found that we enjoy tickle wars and shopping together, along with running errands and reading our scriptures. Also, Sunday naps, baking dinner for one another, being kids, butterfly kisses, snuggling while watching our favorite movies, deep conversations and silly ones too, and kissing upside down.
Not sure if I posted about this, but Landon bought me the cutest little puppy. She was six weeks once we got her but she is now 14 weeks! She is such a hoot and addition to me! Her name is Wriglie and loves to meet new people. She isn't shy at all and is just a total spaz. I love her! She is a chihuahua/yorkie but Landon and I think she is part weiner dog too. A few facts, she would rather play with other puppies toys than her own, she pees on cement and refuses to go on the grass, she is so loving and a total utes fan!
Life has been so great and I thank Heavenly Father so much for the blessings he keeps pouring on me. Which brings me to another thing, Church! This is the very first year that I have actually watched General Conference on my own. I know, it's sad that it took me twenty years, but with the encouragement of my best friend, he got me there. It was an amazing opportunity, being able to watch it. I am also attending a stable ward. Singles ward. So far I really enjoy it and my Bishop is one heck of a guy! We had a meeting so he could get to know me and I can honestly say that I will be in that ward for a while because of his kind spirit. Landon and I started to read scriptures together and when we pulled them out, he had this in his scriptures and my heart became happy. He was an awesome missionary!
So kids, that is about all I have time for, but I hope to get back to blogging soon. I've missed a lot of dates that I wanted to remember, so I might be having a blast from the past! Thank you for keeping up with me!
