the first snow

TUESDAY TEN

(ten reasons i love the first snow)

10. I get to unpack my winter clothes and hang them up.

9. It paints a new picture outside.

8. The snow makes everything feel clean.

7. We always turn on our fireplace and it feels so cozy.

6. It's not too cold.

5. It only stays for a while and prepares you for the big ones ahead.

4. For dinner we always have soup!

3. Hot chocolate is a definate yes.

2. It gets me excited for the things you can do in the snow.

(build snowmen, snowball fights, snow angels, writting in the snow, sliding on ice, sledding)

1. It's showing us that the Holidays are near and coming fast!

From celebrating Halloween, it got me excited for the other Holidays that will be here before we know it. I love the first snow because you know the greatest Holidays are near. Family will be close and the best meals are up too! Shopping, friends, parties... I love it all!
