christmas is in the air and i am stoked.

merry christmas in 22 days!

i have been so excited for christmas since riley mentioned that he gets to skype for it. since then, i have been planning it and been getting ready! i am one of those who loves christmas and when i am older and own my own stuff, i'll be bakin and cookin all sorts of stuff for neighbors and try to give out as much as i can around thanksgiving and christmas. tis the season to be giving, right?! i was doing my blog reading and i came across a little questionare from our little fam and i just had to feel it out.
so here you go, a little about my christmas.

colored on the house and white on the tree.

no, but i should.

when do i put up christmas decorations?
the day after thanksgiving, since i can remember?

what is my favorite holiday dish?
tough, i really love all the holiday food! but probably the whole ham and
funeral potatoes for our family christmas dinner.

favorite holiday memory as a child?
getting our puppy dog allie! i can still remember someone opening the back door
and the little white ball with a big huge red ribbon on her and all of us freaking out.

when and how did i learn the truth about santa?
i don't get this question, the truth about santa?

do i open a gift on christmas eve?
yes! of course, every year and i get a new pair of jammies.

favorite christmas present i have given?
i didn't really give it away, but it was when the family went in on buying
my dad a telescope. his face was priceless and i loved it.
how do i decorate my christmas tree?
we have two, so mom decorates the upstairs one that everyone sees with santas and
then dad decorates the downstairs tree with ornaments my parents get us each year.
snow! love it or dread it?
i love it if i don't have to drive in it!

do i remember my favorite gift?
my parents are too good to me so i have had many favorites.
what is my favorite holiday dessert?
my moms molasses cookies!

what is my favorite holiday tradition?
i just love the whole hanging out all christmas eve and watching christmas movies.
waking up early with jenna and going through our presents.
watching our new movies on christmas.
christmas dinner the sunday before christmas.

candy canes! yuck or yum?
this one depends on my mood.
but they are yum usually.

favorite christmas movie/movies?
too many.
how the grinch stole christmas and a muphets christmas carol are my two most favorites.
but a christmas story, elf, christmas vacation.

favorite christmas song?
also too many.
all i want for christmas is you and prayer of the children are two favorites.
i really like christmas shoes, baby it's cold outside, christmas carol, santa baby and so many more!
