this year, my sister amanda called my mom completely overwhelmed.
she agreed to do a sub for santa service, for a family of 6.
my family, along with others in our ward quickly offered to help and make this a christmas that this family would always remember.
what's the point of this post you ask?
i have never done a whole family. we usually pick a kid off the tree at church, so doing this whole family has really touched me.
also, i know the family, the kids attend my school.
i know that they won't get a big huge christmas, but i know they will get something and hopefully feel loved.
i can't express what i am feeling from this service, but i know i want to continue to serve!
i'm a heartfull person and hate knowing there are people who won't have a christmas.
think about it, have you donated to the ones who stand outside the store and rings a bell?
have you given a dime out of your pocket when they ask you at the store if you would like to donate? have you picked a name to sub for?
a penny goes a long way, remember that when you see one on the floor.
christmas is in four days! FOUR DAYS! (and unfortunately, i am still in school. boo!)
